MACROOM (Maigh Chromtha in Irish Gaelic) is a small market town irlandese with 2,985 inhabitants, in Cork County, located in a valley on the River Sullane, a tributary of the River Lee, between Cork and Killarney, in Southern Ireland. Macroom is twinned with Bubry since 1980 and Marcallo con Casone (Lombardy) since 2003. |
